Why unlimited versions exist

A daily puzzle gives you one board and a streak to protect. That is a good habit and a poor way to practise — the moment you get stuck, there is nothing left to learn on until tomorrow. Unlimited mode keeps the rules and throws away the stakes: play the same shape again, slow down on the part you keep fumbling, or run ten boards in a row. Nothing is scored.

How these boards are made

Every board is generated in your browser, not pulled from a database. Zip boards come from a randomly grown path that covers the whole grid, so a solution always exists. Queens boards start from a legal queen placement and the colour regions are grown around it — then the board is re-solved a few times and kept only if very few alternative answers exist. That is why a Queens board occasionally has more than one answer: you win by satisfying the rules, not by matching ours.
