How to work through today's grid

Nothing here gives a word away — these are the structural facts of puzzle #142 that make it easier to plan where to start.

Begin with the 7-letter word

The longest word on the board is 7 letters long and it starts from row 1, column 4. Long words have the fewest possible routes, so pinning one down usually kills a third of the board's false starts before you commit to anything.

Watch for the 3 bends

3 of the 3 words turn at least once; the longest straight run anywhere on the board is 3 tiles. A bend is a constraint you can use — once one leg of a word is fixed, the turn tells you which direction the rest has to go.

Count tiles before you commit

21 letter tiles have to be covered by 3 words, and nothing overlaps. If your current guess leaves an isolated tile with no unclaimed neighbour, it is already wrong — that is the single most reliable check in Wend.

What is LinkedIn Wend?

Wend is a daily word puzzle on LinkedIn Games. Each puzzle gives you a square grid of letter tiles — every puzzle in our archive ranges from 5×5 to 8×8 — and asks you to find the hidden words. Every letter tile is used exactly once, and each word is a path through tiles that touch horizontally or vertically, so words can bend.

When does the new Wend puzzle go live?

LinkedIn publishes a new Wend puzzle every day at midnight Pacific time. This page is rebuilt right after the reset, so the puzzle number, board and answer above are for the current day.

How is the answer on this page produced?

We capture the letter grid from the official LinkedIn puzzle, then run our own deterministic solver over it to find word boundaries that use every tile exactly once. The solver was validated against LinkedIn's published solution order for earlier puzzles. The grid is official data; the word split is our own work, and it is reproducible from the board shown above.

Are spoilers hidden?

Yes. The board is visible but every word sits behind a reveal button — reveal one word for a nudge, or reveal the full solution once you have finished the puzzle yourself.
